I am Valentina Elena Stan, a Zürich based architect and designer, with significant experience in the field of Retail Design and Architecture.
I understand how important it is for a brand to expand its retail footprint and retrofit existing stores and I know how to ensure that brand design guidelines and execution standards are followed in a consistent manner across multiple markets.
I possess the right design knowledge and skill set to support your company in the development of your business across the globe.
In my previous role as Client Account Manager & Team Leader at MACH Architektur, I assisted renowned brands like:
Breitling SA: furniture & technical drawings, preliminary and design drawing sets, 2018-2019;
Philip Morris & IQOS: concept, design & brand guidelines 2017-2018;
IWC Schaffhausen: roll-out process of worldwide POS, 2016-2017;
Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank: assessment study for a branch in Basel, 2018.
As partner for architectural competitions at LAG Architecture & Scenography, I contributed to Freilager School Public Competition launched by the Canton of Zürich /
Schulanlage Freilager Zürich - Albisrieden, Projektwettbewerb im offenen Verfahren.
For the past 4 years, I have been immersed in the world of retail design with the mission to assist renowned brands in their global expansion. This experience couldn`t have been possible without the trust of my previous employer, MACH Architecture.
I take this opportunity to express my immense gratitude and appreciation for the extraordinary support and guidance that Mr. Jan Fischer has consistently provided. I am also thankful to all team members and clients for their valuable inputs and contribution, for every undertaken task and successful completion of projects.
Before stepping into retail design, I deepened my professional knowledge through various projects for both private and public sector. I had the opportunity to work with
LAG Architecture & Scenography. There, not only I found talented co-workers, but made wonderful friends. Eloisa Avila, Hans Leidescher and Marcello Maugeri, I am grateful for all the good work we did together.
My heartfelt thanks to Monica Gabriela Motea - for her warm friendship and professional support. I hope there would be more women supporting each other like this.
I am deeply indebted to Professor Dietmar Eberle for setting an example of professionalism that continues to motivate and inspire me.
My portfolio stands not only as proof of my work experience, but also as acknowledgement of successful cooperation amongst people at all levels and from all over the world.
Thank you!
